Fort De Soto Park

Fort De Soto Park is located just outside the city of St. Petersburg, Florida.  I could not believe how amazing this State Park was.  The beach was magnificent and a breeding ground for shore birds (don't disturb them).  There were beautiful picnic areas, it's a great place for birdwatching, and of course that beach.  At one end of the park, you get a really amazing view of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.  It really might be the prettiest park I have been to!  You get a lot for a measly $5 bucks to get in!
