I love where I live!  Florida has beautiful things like sandhill cranes and nesting sea turtles.  One rotten apple doesn't spoil the entire state!  A lot of us disagree with things that go on here, and advocate for change!!

 

LOTS of turtle nests this year!

 

44 years ago today . . .

. . . I was sitting in front of a small black and white television set and through lots of cracking and static, I was watching this!  (I don't know who gets the photo-credit; I just know it's not me!)

I love Asheville, North Carolina, and never run out of stuff to do there.  It was a short trip and a lot of fun!

I love driving through southern states and seeing donkeys!  They try to manipulate you into giving them food.  This cutie pie saw me and immediately walked over to me.  When he saw I was not there to feed him, he went about his business of eating grass and ignoring me.  He was very cute.  Not a bad view of the Blue Ridge Mountains for a donkey and some cows.

 

"Oh, she's not going to feed me, I may as well go back to my grass!"

 

There is NO shortage of insects in the North Carolina in the summertime.  These were all doing their jobs of pollinating!

July 4th - Fireworks - Stuart FL

This is my new favorite place in Stuart; a coffee / food / bar called Coffee Bar Blue Door.  We had a vegetarian breakfast sandwich, some ice green tea and espresso.  It was all wonderful.  We like the place so much that we even went back after the fireworks!

Oh, this place is SO cute - inside and out!

 

I loved the inside.

 

There is outdoor seating in a beautiful garden area.

 

The place has so much character and charm.

 

I love the little decorating accents in the place.

 

The food was very good and the service excellent!

My fun day in Stuart ended with an amazing fireworks display put on by the City.
