Empty Nest Syndrome!
Well, it looks like the baby bald eagle of 2013 has flown the coop! He was not in the nest today. One of his parents was in the nest (seemingly looking for him), and the other was perched on a near-by tree scanning the sky!
It has been fun following this pair of breeding bald eagles since 2009. Since 2009, they have created about 8 offspring!
