CORKSCREW SWAMP

Despite the 90-degree heat, and 100% humidity, it was a great day to walk around Corkscrew Swamp. Corkscrew Swamp is located near Naples, Florida, near the Big Cypress Preserve.
Everything at Corkscrew is lush and green from all the rain.
There were a lot of critters keeping me company today -
mostly insects!
He landed on the boardwalk and posed for me!
He, too, posed for me.
THE SWAMP!
Cypress Knees
Some kind of swamp apple. I didn't try one!
There are many types of beautiful swamp flowers
at Corkscrew. (Swamp flowers probably is not
their official name.)
