SANFORD, FLORIDA

I am visiting Sanford, Florida, for a couple days. Sanford is one of Central Florida’s oldest incorporated cities; it has bricklined streets, huge oak trees, elegant store-fronts and large, 19th century Victorian homes. The Historic Downtown is filled with antique shops, restaurants and art galleries. Sanford sits on the south shore of Lake Monroe, providing a waterfront backdrop for walking, jogging or just enjoying the natural beauty.

HISTORIC DOWNTOWN AREA
Lots of outdoor-dining restaurants.
And antique shops.
This was a cool folk art store. The wall around it had
all kinds of little trinkets pressed into the cement.
It was very interesting.
This is the RiverWalk area. It had about a 2-mile
pathway all along the water. There's a beautiful
park with gezebos and more restaurants.
Veteran's Memorial Park - a beautiful little area
honoring veterans.
Marina - Port of Sanford
