I loved reading this article about how this endangered Whooping Crane was rescued, treated and released back into the wild. Operation Migration is an organization that tirelessly works to save these beautiful endangered birds. For once, it was good news. (Photo on the top of my blog is the Whooping Crane class of 2010 being taught to migrate to Florida for the winter - lead by a pilot from Operation Migration.)
