I kept hearing a "cheeeep, cheeeeep, cheeeeeep" in my yard and looked up and saw this baby mockingbird out of his nest. He can't fly yet, but he is hanging on to the branch. The mother was not far off. As I was taking the photographs, she flew in and let me know NOT to get any nearer to her offspring!
The mother had her eye on me the entire time!
As I got right under the baby, she gave me the old stank-eye!
