In celebration of
National Park Week, Saturday was a beautiful day to visit Everglades National Park. There were LOTS of alligators and anhingas!

LOTS OF ANHINGAS!
An Anhinga mother with her newly hatched chicks!
(See their tiny pink heads on the right?)
Some teenage Anhingas.
A sleeping Anhinga.
An Anhinga drying out her wings.
Some fighting Anhingas!
Turtles
(I didn't really need to identify a turtle, did I?!)
Swamp, swamp, and more swamp!
And, lots of hungry alligators!
This one was directly under that Anhinga nest with the babies. He was anxiously awaiting for one to fall out!
This might be Smart Water, but the dummy who threw it into this beautiful, fragile environment isn't so smart! Seriously, take your trash with you!
