Hutchinson Island is an unspoiled beach on Florida's east coast. Several species of endangered sea turtles, such as the Loggerhead, the Green Turtle, and the Leatherback, come to this beautiful beach each year to lay their eggs. I spent the last couple of days here.

HANDS ACROSS THE SAND - PROTEST AGAINST OFF-SHORE DRILLING (06/26/2010)
Hands Across the Sand is a movement made of people of all walks of life and crosses political affiliations. This movement is not about politics; it is about protection of our coastal economies, oceans, marine wildlife, and fishing industry. Let's protect our oceans and shorelines from the devastating effects of oil drilling.
